MIT Sloan School of Management Offices
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA
Jones worked with MIT’s Sloan School of Management to renovate a shell space for a pair of research groups. The Lab for Financial Engineering and Center for Finance and Policy are faculty led organizations for graduate, PhD, and visiting executive research. Located on the 13th floor, the space provided tremendous views of the Boston skyline and ample amounts of natural light which became major design drivers. Counter to typical office layouts the more public collaborative spaces are pushed to the exterior walls to encourage collaboration while private offices cluster the core.
