Henderson Inclusion School
City of Boston, Public Facilities Department, Boston, MA
Jones was initially engaged to replace the windows for the Dr. William W. Henderson Inclusion School's lower campus, a K-1 school in the heart of Dorchester, originally constructed in the 1950’s. Further evaluation of the building revealed other updates that needed to be made including accessibility upgrades, installation of a sprinkler system, and expanded HVAC upgrades. Jones worked with the Boston Public Facilities department and Boston Public Schools to deliver a project that improves the student experience with an updated main entrance, refreshed bathrooms, and better indoor environmental quality.
